Going from a brick-and-mortar store to online sales has become common since the pandemic began. Sew Materialistic started as a physical location, but with the help of Zeal Media, marketing their textiles to a larger market started with a new ecommerce web design.
We created the online store to sell fabric, sewing notions, patterns, quilting kits and more. We customized a solution to allow customers to purchase material by half a meter. Once the website was complete, we recorded a training video for the customer so that she would be able to manage orders and products.
Eight months after the website went live, the customer added an ongoing SEO package to improve their textiles marketing across Canada. At that time, the website ranked for nine keywords on page one of Google. After one year of SEO, the website increased its ranking to over 30 keywords on page one of Google, a 333% increase!
